The long wait is finally over as all of the international models of the Galaxy S4 mini now have official Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware. Just one week after the S4 mini Duos got updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the international 3G variant has also begun receiving the update.
Just like the Duos model, the 3G model's first KitKat update also started to come from Russia with PDA I9190XXUCNG1, CSC I9190SERCNG1 and MODEM I9190XXUCNG1 and of course, instead of waiting for an official release for your country to come out, you can easily flash this at any time as SamMobile already has the firmware packaged and uploaded at their website.

The installation is the same as flashing a stock Jelly Bean firmware. If you are having problems after flashing such as force closes, boot into Recovery mode and wipe data (BEWARE! It deletes all of your data stored on your internal storage). If wiping doesn't help, try to flash the firmware one more time. These new KitKat firmwares are known to have flashing issues and may require multiple flashes as apparently some pieces of the firmware don't get replaced.
