While Samsung is still strugling to update all three international variants of the S4 mini to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, various carriers have already updated it to 4.4.2 and the next variant to receive the update is the US Cellular S4 mini.
Users should keep an eye for that notification screen as the update already appears to be rolling out, and not about to. Alternatively, Samsung Kies can also be used to check for updates if you don't happen to receive any notifications.

US Cellular did not mention any highlights for this update in their documentation but we expect that the update will include all of the features of the AOSP 4.4.2 (obviously) and some touches from Samsung applied to their TouchWiz framework.
